The Hall was built by villagers in 1954 and is dedicated to those who lost their life in the Second World War, please see the History page (on the left) for more details and photographs.
Sutton Memorial Hall and it's surrounding Recreation Ground has a secure childrens playground and picnic area providing facilities for local events and celebrations.
Details and dates for regular events like breakfasts, lunches, quizes etc can be found on the Events page.
Wichkham Market Junior Football Club use the recreation ground as one thier home pitches.
Glass recycling facilities are situated by the car park entrance - please note that clear glass is not processed separately from coloured glass so please use either bottle bank.
A mobile Post Office visits the Hall every Thursday between 09:45 and 10:45approx.
We would welcome new members to the committee, particularly from the newer residents of the village. If you are interested in joining us and feel you could contribute to the life of the village in any way, do please get in touch with our Chair Judith Andrews, on 01394 411642.

The Hall is available for hire. There are two rooms, the 'Big Hall' and the 'Small Hall'; please see the Special Conditions document for capacities. The Recreation Ground is regularly used by caravans who can use the toilets in the hall and the waste disposal facilities.
