The Hall was built by villagers in 1954 and is dedicated to those who lost their life in the Second World War, please see the History page (on the left) for more details and photographs.
Sutton Memorial Hall and it's surrounding Recreation Ground and childrens playground provides facilities for local events and celebrations.

Glass and paper recycling facilities are situated by the Hall entrance - please note that clear glass is not processed separately from coloured glass so please use either bottle bank.
A mobile Post Office visits the Hall every Thursday between 10:00 and 11:00
Sonya, a mobile grocer, visits every Thursday from 9:50 to 10:15
Suffolk Mobile Library's visits on Tuesday at 3.30pm at the layby on Woodbridge Road near the old chapel. The dates for 2018 are:
6 March, 3 April, 1 May, 29 May,
26 June, 24 July, 21 August, 18 September,
16 October, 13 November, 11 December
The Hall is available for hire. There are two rooms, the 'Big Hall' and the 'Small Hall'; please see the Special Conditions document for capacities. The Recreation Ground is regularly used by caravans who can use the toilets in the hall and the waste disposal facilities.
