If you're interested in getting better broadband read on!

The Suffolk Broadband initiative has no plans to bring a service to Sutton so the Parish Council has been in contact with a company called 'Fibrewifi' who have provided broadband for other villages in Suffolk and Essex.

Fibrewifi will present their proposals for Sutton at the meeting at 7.30pm on 10th April which is open to all Sutton residents.

The two new pieces of Outdoor Gym Equipment are now installed by the village hall. The Chest Press for two and a Cross trainer are for those over 14 and adults to enjoy. Warm up or warm down after your run or walk or just use for your weekly exercise!!!  Thank you to all involved in the project and especially to the group that installed the equipment.

SUTTON MEMORIAL HALL   The asbestos roof that has protected the hall for 60 years is now showing signs of weakness and is in need of expert removal and replacement with a modern material.

We have been successful in receiving an award from the ‘Big Lottery Fund’. Further applications for grants will continue as will our own fundraising programme. These will  help boost the fund which will be required to pay for this expensive project.  Work will begin in April, following the Easter break and will take approximately 3 weeks.
