It is the largest parish in Suffolk and is bordered by the River Deben, Rendlesham Forest to the East and, to the North, is the Sutton Hoo Estate, the latter being the site of the world famous Anglo Saxon Ship Burial.Church, the Sutton Plough Pub and the Village Memorial Hall.

|Roadworks in Woodbridge road - 5th - 16th March. from opposite 16 Main Road to outside Old Post Office cottage for laying ducts. This is according to the Suffolk website - do they mean 16 Woodbridge Road?|
|A set of roadworks/closures is excected to start at 'The Plough' and move down to the Shottisham Junction (Ford Hill) on Monday 3rd March but weather may have affected this. The works are to install broadband. This might be the same as the previous item but it depends on who you ask!|
