OUR MISSION. The mission of the Church of England is to bring people to faith in God, to follow the way of life led by Jesus Christ. It is our aim to nurture and build the community and provide leadership and support on issues that affect the daily lives of the parishioners This is a community in which the people look to the church itself as a building in which focal points of their lives - birth, marriage and death - will be celebrated |
|
THE CHURCH IN SUTTON The building is loved and looked after ably by a willing group of people who clean, arrange flowers and change frontals when required. We have a rota of organists who play for each service. The building has disabled access, but once through the door the interior is on one level. There is a display of leaflets giving information about topical issues and happenings in other churches in the locality. There is a leaflet to explain the history of the church. |
We are probably a typical village church, dependent on a willing and dedicated band of people, who love, care for and worship in their village.
We do our best to make everyone welcome whether visiting, worshipping or looking for information.
